Greg started Prime Cut Lawn Care & Snow Removal LLC so that he could raise the bar on how lawn care providers do business. His ultimate goal is to become a household brand and staple in the community by earning the right to do business with his customers, one visit at a time. Furthermore, he wants to show his two children that no matter what walk of life you come from, if you’re willing to work tirelessly and persevere through adversity, you can do anything in this world you put your mind to.

For those of you that don’t follow us or are clicking on our business page for the first time, here’s a little background information on how we got started.

I started cutting lawns when I was 12 years old as a way to help my mother bring some extra money into our household during tougher times.

I had a 22” push mower that I’d push around the neighborhood and knock on peoples doors.

As time progressed and I got older, I really started to admire the designs that I’d see when driving through wealthier neighborhoods.

One day, I made a commitment to myself to learn everything that I could about lawn care. If I was going to put time and effort into this business, then I wanted to be one of the best at it.

When I relocated back to Ohio in 2021, I was on a mission. I wanted to create a lawn care company that really raised the bar on how companies do business in Portage/Trumbull/Summit county.

We aren’t your typical Lawn Care company. We take immense pride in the results that we leave behind.

If you’re looking for a company to service your lawn for the 2024 season, know someone that’s looking, or are considering switching providers this season, then we’d love the opportunity to earn your business.

There’s a few guarantees that you get when considering our company:

1. We will always treat you like we’re doing business with our grandmother.

2. You’ll never wonder when/if your lawn will be serviced; we’ve never missed a single cut or had to skip a week!

3. We’ll never “time” ourselves on your property. We aren’t in this business to be in and out of your driveway in 20 minutes. We’re here to add that “WOW” factor to your home.

4. We welcome all feedback, good or bad. We’re not robots and trust you to help us perfect our craft!

5. A portion of your monthly invoice gets deposited into our charity fund. We are involved in our community as much as we can be. We adopt a family every year for Christmas, have 2 houses of adults we do activities for monthly that belong to Hattie Larlham, and provide many raffle baskets for various nonprofit causes around Portage County. You don’t pay us extra so that we can contribute to these amazing causes; it’s just how we give back to the community that trusts us!
